I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine at McGill University, conducting my research in the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology at the Lady Davis Institute, Jewish General Hospital. My research project will use provincial administrative health data in Quebec to estimate HCV liver related outcomes and mortality and generate the hepatitis C cascade and predictors of losses along each step stratified by immigrant status. This study will inform immigrant micro elimination strategies by identifying where (diagnosis, linkage to care or treatment) and among which sub-groups investment should be made to reach elimination targets in this population. These population-level data will guide public health decision making and ultimately will help achieve the elimination of HCV in Canada.
