I am currently working on investigating the functions of NK cells and T cells in HCV chronic infection. I am also interested in investigating the effect of direct acting antiviral therapies on immune suppression of NK cells and T cells in HCV chronic infection.
Ultimately, my aim is to identify a reliable biomarker of immune recovery of chronic HCV patients cured from direct acting antiviral therapies.
