I completed my Master's in Immunology at the University of Ottawa in 2018, as a CanHepC trainee. Since then, I have continued working in healthcare and research, focusing on emerging infectious diseases. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as part of the COVID-19 Task Force on PPE Decontamination at the National Research Council of Canada. More recently, I took on a role as Clinical Research Assistant at McGill University on a multi-site COVID-19 study across 10 cities in Canada, funded by the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force. The opportunities that the CanHepC training program provided have helped me gain valuable experience in viral diseases and equipped me to better support research on SARS-CoV-2.
