I am a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa and a research coordinator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. My doctoral thesis focuses on improving HCV care among immigrants in Canada. As the first step, I will identify the barriers faced by immigrants to seeking HCV care, as well as the barriers faced by healthcare providers to offering HCV care to immigrants. Next, the findings from these studies will help to design evidence-based interventions to address the identified barriers.
